I love this story! So nice to have something wholesome with a bit of feels mixed into it

I was googling the name Etienne to find the pronunciation and the meaning of the name came up and it means crown or garland which I find so symbolic.

It could either be just the empress emphasising her goal to make Etienne emperor -to crown him so to speak.

Or a purposeful symbol by the author that he will become emperor, he will be crowned without the empress cos then I googled Rishar and it came up to mean- independent, enthusiasm and admirer which the alpha has proven to hold these exact qualities but his name could also derive from Richard which has a very straightforward meaning- strong in rule, brave ruler, powerful, mighty ruler.

Just wishful thinking that this may prove that they will rule together, I mean I think even without this it’s a pretty predictable plot anyway haha but I like the symbolism.
