So his morale is weights more than his survival instinct. The plot is predictable, dang. I was expecting a different one where the MC is really intent on surviving, not stepping or meddling. One who is really scared of his life to the point of exile.
The MC here is dumb. He already know whats coming next but still kept on intervening. Come on. If you really want to survive, that ain't it. He also entertain and enjoy mixing flesh with the ML which is questionable. He's supposed to perceive it as a threat that hasten the collar in his neck. He had a lot of chances before they met, like changing career, applying to a different workplace, or tracing the opposite of the storyline to completely deviate himself of his impending doom. He ain't trying much. He also easily succumb to pleasure.
Disappointment, I say.
Yeah the manga did deviate quite a bit since they didn't include some parts. For his reaction and decision is quite different since in the novel it show more of his inner thoughts which shows that he isn't really just letting the ml do whatever he wants but more like he's scared on what he might do if he doesn't comply
This pressed me, in fact. His decision in here is impulsive, a whole tad of dissapointment. He could have waited. More so when the ML arrived very shortly after. I was like, wtf? He could have waited. It was a dumb move. Now, what, after that they'll be fucking now?
The thrill that this manhwa should have entailed turned out to be a predictable cliche comedy.
Reading the comments and seeing everyone plastering Asil as one with no backbone irks me. Hahah In the novel, Asil has been portrayed as a dignified soldier and one with strong familial duty that is almost akin to obsession. He didn't show any hint nor did he succumb to love for Valery, it's more of resentment. He is flooded with shame and humiliation.
I guess I'll just have to wait for you to see him running hand and hand with Graim and their family's bones in a treasure box. It went to the point where he had to shave his head and dress his sister as a female just to run away. Only then will I guess that you say he grew a backbone. Funny, but, perhaps, novel readers and manhwa readers can never agree to a character- NO, stupid fuck ass shit who can't grasp a character's emotion and rationalize his actions are a big disgrace for one who call themselves 'avid readers'. Excuse me if I stepped on your dress, Cinderella
By the way, I favor no one in the story, but I'd pick Valery Grecosha if I must
I think it's cuz we don't have the info that you have. The manwha is just in the early stages of the story it's only normal ppl have diff opinions, we are basing our judgement on what we just know.
Also there could've been variations in portraying the story so certain readers of diff reiterations CAN concur diff opinions of a character. You said so yourself novel Asil is portrayed differently, and we don't know where the manwha's route will go to, would it copy the novel word for word? would the author change a few beats they feel would be proper for the media.
We don't know that.
Just food for thought before calling people stupid fuckass shits
Oh shi+. I don't like the tale of Lobo and Blanca as well. It narrates loyalty and grief.
Lobo and Blanca are legendary wolves featured in Ernest Thompson Seton's story, "Lobo, the King of Currumpaw." Lobo was the leader of a wolf pack in New Mexico, and Blanca was a white wolf, possibly his mate, who became a key element in Seton's plan to trap and kill the wolves that were preying on livestock. The story highlights Lobo's loyalty and grief after Blanca's death, and it is considered a powerful tale about the relationship between humans and nature.
Dang, I see another Taeju! Wahh. This is lovely. I'm glad I found this exactly at the last chapter.
I like how the uke handles everything. He doesn't demand, not clingy, not feminine- true to his sex, a man. He can stand on his own. He is truly strong, in and out. The seme also stick to his words, but true to his desires and clear of what he want. I like it.
The characters are well written. The story doesn't also ground misunderstanding for long, nor the author used it to thicken the plot or plot money.
I hope the author of 'The S- Lass Guide as Sweet as Honey', have read the novel of this, so that no fuck ass long shit as 50 chapters of misunderstanding shit. Hahah
Anyway, waiting for the side stories!!
Since the tender age of 14 until the age of 30, he is still naive. Didn't he already learn his lesson when they were still fuck buddies? Being fuck buddies is already a big blow, to ones ego and love. How could he cling on to such shit. He's no different from a toilet when that offer came, especially from the person you love for a decade. Usually, you'll feel humiliation and shame. You'd want your ideal stay ideal - a dream you don't wanna smear.
I have no problem with casual relationships, but that is already going low.

Alas, were I fluent in Korean, I would most certainly indulge in the raws without hesitation. My deepest gratitude to the gracious scanlation team for their tireless efforts, nourishing humble, unrefined readers such as myself who sail the high seas with empty pockets. This ever-grateful soul remains in your debt.
Lmao you’re so eloquent
It's not a scanlation team, they've been posting the originals. Twice at that because no one checks before they upload again and again and again and again (put on repeat). I can tell, because both chapters 45 are both identical, complete with an error near the end (beren is not an English word). We should train more people to "look before they leap".
My bad. Indeed, I failed to check if this was a work of a scanlation team or if it were the official chapters. Nonetheless, this word of thanks was meant for the uploader.
I didn't received well your message tho. I suppose you're subtly dissing me with that quotation by the end? I don't know. Hahah
Nope, wasn't about you at all! It's one of my pet peeves on this site, where people are uploading multiple copies of one story (sometimes years after they've ended). I've had to turn off a lot of notifications this year just because of that. I do understand why some would have the urge to post the official versions, as I have seen the decline in available works that do decent translations. Having said that, it doesn't mean ALL the translated series are bad, some are 95% good enough, where as some are closer to 60% (because of bad pronoun usage mostly -cough/cough- Violet Scans -cough/cough-). And then we have an Evil Bear running around not only uploading the official version, but also a "better version" . . . never did figure out why we need 3 versions. It feels excessive. If only I could convince those multi-uploaders to bring forth chapters on stories that have been abandoned, which is the best way to stop my moaning and groaning about duplicates. (yes, I've been hated on for my views)
