i love this so much like the concept is ugh so great but if they ended up being a man or a woman i'd be slightly disappointed because this would be such a great manga that represents nonbinary people that go through this much questioning in their heads everyday

ive seen so so many parents like this including my own, and even though my personality didn't end up reclusive- that's usually what happens to children when their parents don't let them have their own opinions. i don't get why parents can never understand how their actions form their children's personalities. also if a parent get stressed from having an 8hour a day job, why do they expect a child to be completely fine. stress free, and outgoing when the hours they need to do work is at the same amount as them, AND with a lack of praise as well as familial pressure and no income??
hell sometimes the kids have less free time than their parents- no wonder they rebel and have a strained relationship with their parents
