Now the divorce, father winning full custody, MC feeling like he can breathe around his mother but unable to live with her. Also found it disheartening that he asked her about her new place and she was talking about the two rooms… ugh breaks my heart. This poor mc makes me feel so bad but I don’t wanna take upon pity. Unfortunately sadly no. When divorce happens and they have kids, the kids are not able to pick which parents they want to go. It’s usually the court that decides and determines which is best for the kids, whether it’s income, living situation and etc, it usually base on those things that gets to decide who you get to live with. BUT if you’re above 18 {an adult} you may get to choose at your own will since you’re an adult. Unless you have both supportive parents and talk to the court about it im guessing you can pick whoever… sad world we live in.
