He's definitely sus, I think it's either him or the king. Cause why else would the imperial family be conducting experiments on souls? Also Erin(Eric?) mentioned that the king suddenly changed.
Plus I don't think narratively it's gonna be that easy to eliminate the dragon, a king is harder to kill than a headmaster. He's still hella sus tho and idk why he knows ancient magic now.

Fr, the ancient knowledge and putting an ancient limiting seal on mc that even a new magnus can't break. He definitely knows that she was the previous magnus sehow i think. Plus, he used to be a half assed mage who suddenly become someone high in ranks. It's all too sus, I think the king is in on it though as a part of a deal in so many words which is where the change in behavior came from, and is now trying to transplant himself into another body so he has eternal power, the headmaster (dragon) is just playing along for maybe power or protection. Not sure what his plan is tbh.
In the end, the king is foolishly wrapped around his pinky in his chase for absolute power, and the dragon is entertaining whatever that deal he made with Elixus was
