for real, this is one the issues as of now where students are encouraged to take college "just because" even if they don't enjoy it. the thing with the "go with the flow" Ham said is true, when you others going to college, you go to college and when you see them going to work, you go as well. I love how this comic explains real life scenarios.
Farmers, nowadays, are discriminated just because they are farmers. People tend to think farmers are uneducated or poor just because that's how society portrayed it to be. Seeing how this comic perfectly portrays a growing issue is very commendable. This is why some are discouraged at agriculture. IT'S FINE TO DO WHAT YOU LIKE.
Yechan is innocent to the fact of only learning why others need to go to college because of his love for farming. AND IT IS OKAY TO PURSUE WHAT YOU LOVE. Who would want a mindless and tiring job to work for the rest of their lives that they don't even enjoy? (this is the situation Ham is facing, father forcing him to take Law). Others need to accept the fact that in farming is an ACTUAL job. Those of the people who volunteered that were portrayed were excellent examples of being educated BUT uneducated. They have gone to school, college, or any academic stuff but aren't educated upon life itself, the reality and acceptance. FARMING ISN'T ABOUT PLANTING AND HARVESTING. Seeing Yechan's schedule which started from waking up 5:30 and consequently having to go to other chores at aroung 8:00 and many more. IT'S TIRING but he loves it.
overall, i love the plot of this comic since it is not just your regular fluff, it really tackled some real issues regarding discrimination in farming and being yourself in wanting to pursue what you like. if you were able to reach to the end of my unexpected essay, ya good person and chose a good thing to read :)))
