The official English translation, Tapas, made a few mistakes and then tried to cover them up. They reimagined many parts of this story.
The biggest one is the idol in present day is supposed to be going by Han. He is called Lee Han in the Korean one. Lee is his surname. Hangyum is rarely said. The original story is better. I would suggest the fan translations when they have them up. It will be a different story in parts. Some are up now.
Though the Korean does leave somethings opened in the story. Not everything is resolved.
