It's a rare gem to find a seme who shows his vulnerable self (in a good way ofc) and not too ludicrously OP. moreover, the uke is my favorite because he's strong spirited, reliable and rational. he's not a whiney bitch who constantly needs help from the seme cuz HE ACTS ON HIS OWN. in fact, the two has their own strengths and weaknesses. they balance each other out unlike other yaoi couples who take advantage of their partner's weakness, ending with one of them being toxic.
finally a story where the seme genuinely cares for the uke. the uke is also strong and smart not some whiney bitch.
i really love the unique story and the art style. but the portrayal of PTSD is so real and explicit, its a bit too overwhelming. i just need to take a break from reading. its sad that mc's life is ruined because he was SA'd. he always fall back to square one whenever he's haunted by his past. even though he's willing to overcome trauma on his own, he keeps on making poor decisions due to traumatic stress.
kinda mid. the mystery is not really intriguing nor special. i appreciate the translator's efforts on the first 3 chapters but.... honestly i felt like i missed a lot of essential information due to poor translation.
im side eyeing those people who commented how the uke should get used to all the ghosts surrounding him. but im sure if u were in his situation youd also experience nightmares and prolly run the fuck out of that place. he did not ask for all the shit that keeps on happening to him, and he most definitely do not want to stay with a man rough sexing him every time they meet. give him a breakkk
finally caught up with all the updates. i dropped this 2 years ago because of all the angst. i also remember that the flashbacks are dragging so long and the couple is barely progressing with their relationship. itll probably take more than 120 chapters to complete the story considering its slow pacing. ill drop this again for now and prolly return after a year or so.
