For the part that says ‘so in the finals you decided to come’ I think it’s supposed to be ‘’so you finally decided to come’’ I could be wrong because I don’t have raws but I think that’s what they meant

Its because he never learn about omega stuff since he never had heats or any other normal omega effects, all this is new to him since the doctors and everyone thought his heat will never come so there was no reason for them to explain all that to him. Remember that he was introduced as "half-omega" in the begging?
