i dont get the part where the emperor wants to kill them even before they were born if it wasn't for his life, can someone explain this to me it's been on my mind ever since that part came

He never said he wanted to kill them. Okay so think about it like this someone who you truly HATE and LOATHE and who MANIPULATED you gets pregnant through magic and through your blood. Now your obligated to hide and pay for something you never wanted, but I'm guessing when he went and named them (when they were born) he felt a little bad but he still didn't want them because the b*tch was still alive. Remember right when she (the twins mom) died he went for them and started taking care of them. Sure he might have not been the best and neglect is also abuse but he took them out of the castle and fed them and clothed them and is trying to fix their relationship.

He wanted to remain loyal to his wife even after death, but the twins' mother basically raped him using his life as a threat. She could kill him anytime because she placed a curse on him using his blood. He didn't want to kill the twins, but he also didnt want them to be born. That could be because he only wanted children with his wife and/or because he knew they would have a hard life as illegitimate children. At least that us what I got.
I ship Kasia and Alicia, just a ship because I don’t think Kasia is ready for romance. Like she just started really feeling her own emotions.
