As far as I know, pheromones doesn't have an effect between blood relatives. And I can also interpret the situation of the 2nd couple as not having romantic feelings towards each other but only love for a family. Because he use the word cherish not the usual like or love. The author didn't show us the truth about their relationship. I wish he show us more. But that doesn't mean I want incest. But in the end, I can't understand the purpose of the 2nd couple/characters

Main couple is great. Second couple is the same as friends with benefits story so It's kinda boring for me.
