As what the fox's said, the fox's descendant should make the wife's descendant happy or else the the disaster will happen which makes sense when seme's dad got sick and the electric pole got struck by lightning its bcuz the uke was heartbroken, he thought the seme doesn't love him bcuz he doesn't want to follow the tradition.
