It needs some more chapters so that they can solve their own issues. They're lacking communication. Like they need more growth in their relationship that's why for me the ending is not satisfying enough even with the side story.
I cried for Chi-san's past. But happy bcuz he found love and is happy now. I wish for more extra chapters though like living together, getting more stable more cute chapters..
