Although it could be considered cliché since this plot is quite common, I enjoyed how they deploy the story of each character and their behavior. For instance the duke's kid, she acts like that because she's pampered and so on. I also liked the fact that the reason of the emperor's displayed indifference is pointed out from the beginning.. unlike some family troupes.. WHAHAHA no shade, but it definitely lessened my anxiousness as a reader
