Why are people confused??? It's a story that's been told over & over in Yaoi, only more annoying & angsty.
It keeps flashbacking from their childhood to the present to parallel that even though they have the same rocky relationship that stays over the years, they seem destined to stick together, and this makes present Bakugou frustrated because his conflicting feelings are something he can't really understand himself. He thinks he hates Deku, but also "longs" for him, so when Deku suggests leaving his side ("I want to defeat you and get it over with") he lashes out with sexual violence but only shocks himself to the point he starts hyperventilating, probably because he didn't think himself that his feelings for Deku ran that deep. Then, Deku helps ground him which helps Bakugou accept the role Deku serves in his life, as his stability. That's expressed in the end, when he accepts that all along it was "obvious", or that Deku is simply someone indispensable in his life, and that he should stop fighting it. This can be interpreted as either admitting Deku is his destined rival, his future partner as a hero, a romantic partner, or All of The Above.

They really went the poly route... wow. Just wow. The only credit I'll give this story is that I would have never expected that. But even though so much happened, the plot itself was still lackluster. I feel like it had so much potential but they did barely anything with it. The tone was also all over the place like the author couldn't decide if they wanted a comedy or a drama & it was off-putting.

I was hoping this would be a happy, relaxing story, but I was wrong. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS INFURIATING. The main reason, of course, is Sijoon, and how damn selfish he is. From the beginning, they told him AI was like a baby & all he ever did was freak out & get upset whenever AI messed up WHEN HE FAILED TO EXPLAIN BASIC TASKS TO HIM. He literally has done NOTHING FOR AI, and still has the FUCKING AUDACITY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM. And, of cOURSE, HE EVEN HANDLED THAT BADLY & keeps treating AI like shit because the ONLY THING HE EVER DOES IS THINK ABOUT HIS OWN FEELINGS. I AM SO MAD.

I agree with you on only one part. I feel like he could’ve done more to help Ai, and explain things to him better. Also of course he’d freak if he suddenly found all the furniture he payed money for outside. Of course he only thinks about HIS feelings, he practically in denial at the moment, also AI is technically just a robot, and Sijoon has been told that anything that could be considered an error could cause them to basically scrap AI. Even if they did get into a relationship, if that relationship was found out by any of the scientist guys (which it probably would, cause they work on AI & do maintenance on him) could cause his memories to be wiped or system reset or something. Sijoon basically said: “You’re an AI, your not supposed to have feelings!” Because of this. Also, would you not think of yourself when put into a situation like this? You know that you aren’t supposed to be in a relationship with this person, that this relationship could possibly cause the person you love to be taken away or worse if discovered, and that this person will probably be taken away from you in the future. Even considering AI’s feelings, the most logical thing is to reject them. It would’ve ended the same either way, both with heartbreak on each side. Self-preservation. Protecting yourself from heartbreak. Humans are selfish creatures. Would you willingly get into a relationship with someone that you KNoW will be taken from you? Sijoon is 1. In a little bit of denial, 2. He was practically telling Ai “hey, you aren’t supposed to have these feelings, you will have to go soon.” But in a harsher way. If he were to accept AI’s feeling’s despite knowing this, I feel would be more selfish. Cause at that point, Ai would have experienced being loved back by him and it’d just be tougher for him to leave in the long run. I think your anger is blinding you, because Sijoon HAS done stuff for AI. The scientist dudes from before were mentioning how much he improved by staying with Sijoon. You could argue that all he did was turn on the tv for him, but Sijoon also corrected him on what to do and what not to do, took him out, showed him how to use a phone, bathe, etc. You also mention that Sijoon has the “audacity” to fall in love with him? Sijoon also doesn’t think he should have these feelings. You can’t control who or what you fall for, it just happens, the way your treated, the way they look, their actions, this can all factor in when you fall for somebody. Sijoon never wanted these feelings. At least that’s how I interpreted it.

Ugh. I don't even know where to start. I feel like the amnesia was such a waste of time. It was just a way for Jungsoo to keep evading his problems with Minyul instead of DEALING WITH THEM. Like, I thought that was what it was all amounting to, that the amnesia would help Jungsoo realize that if he wanted to stick with the relationship that things would have to change. Like, go to therapy & WORK for it, or something.
But, no. They went for the clean, easy solution of the childhood friend route even though.... it just didn't work for me. It was too much self-sacrifice from Hyun's side, so I guess the point of it all was that ONLY Jungsoo was supposed to get spoiled & get all the sympathy? Sorry, Minyul, sympathy machine broke.
At the end, I was rooting for the guy with blue hair to be Jungsoo's endgame because at least their story wouldn't be so damn messy.
UGH HAEBOM IS GONNA KILL ME OF CUTENESS
WHY IS HE SO DAMN SWEET I WANT TO SMOTHER HIM
(smother him with love, I mean)
YES!
