The anime is a bit different from the manga in certain parts. But they are both great.... watch both the anime (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ and the manga.
I think the one he really slept and had a baby with was ryouko the other sister

Of course. It was made clear many chapters ago that it was the 'other" sister who took the letter and was doing the identity thieving.
What's sad is that he's a good, if misguided, guy and he got screwed over by this crazy family. Both sisters suck. The parents suck. The servants are whack. This whole family needs to be sterilized so they never have another generation. What weirdos.
But the sisters's parents said that the unmarried sister is impotent, so how can there be a child?
They can be wrong. :) The one that was infertile was the married one--she had a fake pregnancy.
The thing is that the dead husband only thought she had a child from when they slept together, there's no proof that Ryouko ever got pregnant or gave birth to his child o.o At least that's the impression I have so far..unless I missed or overlooked something in the story. If so, please let me know XD
Actually from what I gathered ryouko was always mentioned as physically weak I don't believe they ever mentioned she was infertile.
Someone should make an anime for this manga.... and for chapter 19 Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......that's all
