Im sorry to disappoint but you seem to forget that both kyou and tohru LEFT to a far away place.
The author just knew our deep love to FB and wanted to give us something, a diffrent percpective maybe.
And yes, how amazing it would have been if they continued the anime.. its a wish we all have.
To all those who claim that the main character is 'typical' well let me tell you a secret.. SHE IS MOST CERTINALY NOT, i have read more than one million mangas, no joke, This is an original as far as possible in the shoujo world, Female main character.
