If I remember correctly, be prepared for major plot twist. Like memory erasing due to trauma plot twist. ML has been watching over her and pulling strings for her since the beginning, but she doesn't know anything yet.

My guess is the knight guy at the garden with the Count and the porter or whatever or Jane is the same... Thus, Jane giving Wilhelmina a magic necklace that came from that same porter... As said, he's watching her from the very beginning even when they're still at the academy.
The Count and Jane the merchant has been hinting it since the beginning... That is if my observation is right.
There are some readers here who hate JK to the core but then love other ML who explicitly r*pe the MC, unalive people, Like they are counting on the redemption arc and flip 180 after hating the characters. Anw fiction is fiction right?
Also it feels like the streamline of "Redemption arc" being accepted and looked forward too is already ended and Jinx is the first victim lol
