Well he can't openly show he loves Blake. The nobles keep pressuring him to exile Blake and remove the title crown prince from him . That's why he put Blake in a Palace that's really far to the imperial Palace. It's his way to protect Blake.
Yeah I know that. I think it was explained in the earlier chapters or so and it doesn't change the fact that it's how it looks like in Blake's eye plus he might be neglecting his son for his safety but it still neglect

There's a lot left to cover as per the novel. The current epilogues are only titled so as it refers to the epilogue of the situation in the first timeline. The current storyline has a lot of details and gaps to fill. So, as per that, I believe it will be a while before the main and current story will finish.

What a lazy writing. They just made the prince an asshole instead of broadening his character profile.
