haven’t read a good historical romance in awhile… most seems to be about reincarnation of great mages to a child’s body or time travel. def a good read. literally made me feel something. live love laugh redflag
my very first straight manhua (most of my reads were bl) and i’m quite happy with how the story is going so far. i love the tension and slight misunderstanding. the MC is quite refreshing and so is the “stoic” ML.
my fave chapter so far was when the MC visited the farm and they had a slight misunderstanding (CHANGING ROOM SCENE HELLO??). ALSO, i like the scene where she can’t book a ride so she posted a private post that only the ML can see so he can pick her up and drive her home hehe (๑˃ᴗ˂)。
anyways, literally turned off my brain in some parts bc i’m confused at some parts with the auntie and uncle thing. i live for these tropes ngl. i’ve read worst straight mangas and still ate it up. this is too good.

Ngl it would be nice if it ended with season 1 and just sprinkled side stories. The first season was pretty good esp when she discovered that ian was a fake broker that’s real suspense right there. But anyways wouldn’t mind the little smu smu here and there ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I don't remember much from that but I did like it a lot. For 'There were times I wished you were dead' my last comment was "Top tier angst, nice long redemption arc.
