I agree, why would a doc ask a reporter to come into this situation, that was the first mistake evolving a bystander, also Clark has a weird fetish, he’s willing to sell his body to get a story that he isn’t gonna even publish. Alex isn’t innocent but he also shouldn’t have been played as if he was a game, because that in itself cause him to kill. The situation was avoidable, he didn’t have to manipulate Alex into loving him, I think he did that just to experience what the victims felt, he just didn’t want the death ending.
He should have just been given over to the police and rotten in jail for his crimes. But that wouldn't have been as interesting to read.

i love this soooo much, i literally grew up waiting for this and vampire night’s new chapters and i deadass clung into the two of those until it finished. black bird, this, and vampire night is literally my all time faves. i read this and vampire night at least once a year and i read black bird like 2-3 times a year and i dont even get tired of it all even though i know everything already. i will always come back for the mangas that i mentioned no matter what happens
