when you say "It's okay to hurt me," was it really done for the sake of the partner or yourself? what if the fact that you are hurting hurts the partner as well? but then, separating would also mean prolonging a pain that's already present... man, that must take some really amazing strength to be willing to get hurt while trying to heal others. forming connections is really some complicated thing, especially with love.
I always thought that people who do not care if their partner hurts them it's because they do not care about the relationship enough, or about themselves. Now I'm not sure enough. Either way, I think it's pretty much a bad idea because it could lead to resentment and fights in the future or the partner would feel like doing dumb shit is always okay ㅠㅠ
