Why do you people get so hung up with the "harem" thing? It's not my favorite either but this is "shounen", just like when in shoujos the girl greatest feat it's to get the popular / strongest guy that could have any girl he wants but "chose her" in shounen becoming THAT popular guy is the biggest feat... so is the same setting but you are just looking at it from the other side
Lol... For me, it’s not the harem but the romance element itself.
Harem can be great, like re:monster (the girls just as badass as the MC), the world god only knows, but it takes skills for the author to create a great story with harem, and many authors fall short of the expectation. They add harem just for the sake of ‘fan service’ but the harem does not really contribute much to the storyline. Instead, it disrupts them and makes the manga lost focus and becomes like any other ecchi/harem manga (like arifureta).
For me, instead of harem, I dislikes the addition of romance into the already great story. Imagine if suddenly eiichiro oda add romance element to one piece where luffy seriously romantically involved with someone, it becomes laughable. It will be different if the ambience of the story kinda hinted the possibility of having a serious romance in the beginning or romance becomes the main plot.
While in this manga, actually I am not particularly against the idea of a harem (it’s kinda hinted since the beginning), but one of the girls is just plain annoying, it took part of the fun away.
Exactly lol The annoying females are the biggest problem and the cheesy romance where the mc does everything for "the girl", like wtf does your life meaning is to "serve, save, pursue, protect and worship a pussy"? same goes when the mc is female and only cares about "that guy" but that mostly happens in shoujos, reason why I only read shounen or yaoi but Yeah shounens like this add girls for fan service and if there are a lot of them then they dont become relatively important characters... so for that I can put up with harems anyday. Someone asked if "God of Martial Arts" would become an harem (marry a lot of girls" and I actually hope so... I hope he marries all the influential girls around and conquer/control the world lol

doesnt the novel not mention he's a really young, also I dropped it as well since I checked for spoilers and the romance didn't end well however that's far ahead and all I can say is it was worth it t know that I didn't waste my time on this
if you are only into "romance" then it might be the case for you but some of us dont even care about the romance development so if you are gonna spoil just to say something so stupid then you better save your warnings to yourself... you know what they say “It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt”
