I completely didn’t expect an anime announcement?!? It will probably only come out once the story’s finished im assuming

the author said they’re starting production but it’ll (obviously) most likely be 2025, this was months ago when it was announced, cause we’re actually behind on chapters ( I could be wrong on some of this though but I think I’ve read it somewhere on their Twitter that they started…) I wonder what studio, I’m just hoping it’s not some crappy 3d animation but the little tiny animated banner gave me some hope it’s most likely not

honestly this was bound to happen, and i can't say the authors' anger isn't justified. most of them rely on the income to pay rent, they don't just draw as a hobby. although it's true that these translations do give the work more exposure, who are we kidding, 99% of readers don't go and buy the raws after reading the translation. one illegal activity doesn't justify another (in this case, the author's doxxing) but like... uploading your own face on the same account you admit to committing unauthorized distribution on is a pretty dumb move.
anyways, i don't think the authors can sue individual translators or uploaders because they don't distribute the work for profit. however, mangago is a different story because they have ad revenue from a site that hosts illegal works. if they go ahead with the lawsuit it will probably be years until it goes through because it's an international case.

this work has been deleted(?) from comico taiwan where it was being published. if someone somehow found the raws i'd be glad to translate though

The manhua was canceled… https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=148625 (not the raws, just a bunch of information)
This is such an interesting and funny story it’s just kinda “triggering” to read as a stem major LOL esp in a life sciences adjacent major
