It starts really complicated, and I since I read it almost a year ago I do not remember everything about it.
So, in another world a war happened between sovereigns and other beings (I dont remember their names I'm sorry, but you have already seen them, they are the lads that were seen in the first chapter of the second season, you know the ones who came out of that portal). So sovereigns and these lads battled against eachother, and one of the sovereigns (shadow sovereign, s.s. for yall since it's a longass name ) has the same power of jin-woo.
Well, this war happened a long time ago and the shadow sovereign almost died, so his subordinate (that wierdass angel) created the system to make a human able to inherit the power of the s.s.. hes doing this because the war disnt actually finish so the s.s. and the other lads are gonna battle eachother on earth, so that's way the helpers of the sovereigns (called fragments, one of them is the president of the hunter association and jinwoo's father), created the portals and made humans awaken. Blah blah blah he defeats all of them and then theres the ending, I wont spoil it now since it's like whoosh, but if you want me to do it I'll tell you
