I don't think she remembers, its more like she became worried for her sister. As she said, the queen changed after she steps foot in the palace. Added to that, she saw the King with his Mistress. In her POV, the queen is alone in palace fighting her battles that's why she decides to be that someone who'll stay by the queen's side and protect her.
