If you came for a realistic psychological horror with R-rated concepts this isn’t the story. He is psychotic but what else do you expect him to do for this story to be romance?

When did Mugo(rlly any of the three) fall for MC? At least favor him sure but that dramatic declaration of love feels empty and inauthentic asl. I cannot take it seriously

I didn't see it as a confession of love. However, it did come as romantic cuz that's how Jaheon perceived it as was shown in the panel of him blushing.
I do think he holds a special place in Mugo's heart. His presence beside him became relevant enough that he would mourn his absence. But it's not yet love. Although, it could probably be the start, I still think it's codependence and his possessiveness as a snake god. Like you said, cake=love, games=love, good f*=love.

MC will try to leave the community and Guwon aint letting that happen, regardless of MC trying to talk to him about ethics. Guwon eventually will not care about right and wrongs; he will become obsessed and reliant on MC's company/presence.
