If this is really the end, I think the author is not brave enough to actually tackle cosmic horror and open up lores directly so they created a short, vague and simplified version then made it comedic so everyone can just justify and over analyze the mess.
This was good enough, cosmic horror and time loop is not that simply to write it is better to be honest about your habilities and create a short one than expand it and make a mess.

Oh I feel like crying. The closest to an adult family she ever had was Richard. Now that she needs him, nothing is going her way. I’d really love for her to get jealous and possessive but this is so frustrating that it feels like it is not the time. One event at a time. The little details of Tae-oh trying to hold back his crazy rut and impulses like licking Dobin when he was trembling instead of biting him, or just a little suck on his lower lip instead of eating him up—very important. Still, I hope they can use the meds. Their dynamic worked so well because they were rational and if someone was out of it, at least one of them was still able to think. I think it would be better to drink that and still go with the sexy situation. Also, I don’t really want Dobin getting pregnant anytime soon.
