I will not forgive the Dojin and Byul if they guilt-trip and fight Hyesung. They should just let him get angry and throw tantrums, then ask for forgiveness and pamper him. They betrayed him, especially Dojin, when he knew how much Hyesung suffered. I personally would divorce someone who kept in touch and even made relationship with my deadbeat, absent, and shit parent.
Crazy parents. Like they're talking about some test subjects. I get the brother, he's saying it in a way to stop them from making any moves at all. And I understand that might be difficult to overhear as a kid. There should really be a national test and license to become a parent. Call it eugenics, but I'd rather we filter out emotionally and psychologically unfit people. Money comes and goes, the true enemy is actual behavior, attitude and beliefs of the parents (aside from society and government of course).
I knew he would still use sex. Sex (but in most cases, it's not sex but rape) has a loooooong history of being a power tool and it's most powerful to get information, easiest even. Uno may look simple and stupid but he knew that, and he works smart that way. It's easier to implicate and threaten as well. He can't just change his methods that easy, especially since they've already had sex and he lied nicely to get out of the "situationship" hahahaha, and his resources are almost entirely cut-off with his company running away. What did that guy expect? He might have even expected this exact situation and be excited to "punish" Uno.
40 years is so long, affording recovery for that long is not easy. So both Ho's mom and dad are basically rich people. I'm just thinking why not one of dad's family/friends in the U.S. tried contacting the Nungdolmae village, it's upsetting. If he lived there for a year, someone with some sense should have tried contacting the village to tell them what's happening to him, in case he left a loved one there who wanted to know. It's a bit strange. I'm just glad he was able to reunite with Ho before he dies himself, and that Ho now know what's the reason he didn't have a father.

He said he had been travelling to different countries and ended up meeting Haebom's mom in nuldongmae.. he only stayed for a year there, there was no reason for his family to think he'd have a loved one somewhere in a foreign land if he hasn't mentioned it.. and considering they didn't mention it to him for decades, he likely did not tell them at all or asked them to leave the matter be if they knew.. either way they wouldn't be in the wrong.. also even if they wanted to, haebom's dad was losing his memories, how'd they get in contact? And then he went into the coma for 2 years the when he did wake up he had no memories and a body that needed to relearn a whole lot of things anew.. noone is tp blame, its unfortunate but life is just tragic for some people..
I recently read about a irl story of a couple in late 1900s. The guy was from India and the girl was from Germany or something. She came to India, met the guy and fell in love but he family called her back sp she had to leave. The guy made up his mind, sold everything and bought a bicycle on which he travelled from India to Germany. He met her and her family there, they got married and settled in Germany and had kids and everything. Basically they separated, struggled and got their HE. But unfortunately not everyone does, haebom's parent's were one of those..

Our baby, our Rachel, you all gave Shuri's life color and meaning. She would have rotten staying as a child in that disgusting house. She was able to live a life, although there were trouble and hardships, because of being your mom. Stepdad is stepping the fuck up and I can't wait for all of these to be over.
