I know that there is a great sexist discrimination in Japanese culture (and in many places in the world), and that although in modern society women have the same rights as men (Except in certain parts of the world, not to mention social discrimination), there is still a discrimination, and in the worst cases, sexual harassment at work.
But this manga is ridiculous, sexual harassment is exceeded enough, treating the protagonite as trash just for being a woman (On top, they say it's their fault for having big tits, and should cover them with a tape (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸) or touching her directly in an operating room, or the guy who loves to touch her tits directly in front of everyone
(╯°Д °)╯╧╧.
I don´t know what pisses me off more, the attitude of the protagonist, who has agreed to sexual harassment as something "normal" as one of the hard things of that job, or all others who access and promote that type of behavior.
Honestly, it get a lot out of the fact that doctors and surgeons are people who get used to having the life or death of a patient on their hands, and the anaesthesiologist are quite underestimated, but I think that everyone here is failing as "human being" "or" civilized person ".

Technically, Kyoko is making the same mistake with Ren.
She is assuming Ren's feelings with external sources of information, instead of asking directly about his feelings.
Both make the same mistakes, and both do not show their feelings "for the sake of the other."
Conclusion, their relationship is still slow, and both are idiots and guilty.
End.

So it seems good to you that your relationship goes so slowly?
What they are doing is making excuses to run away from their feelings, and a very good one that they have right now is "for the sake of the other."
And I personally believe that a healthy romantic relationship is "give and take".
If the person I love, keeps things and suffers in silence "for my own good", that wouldn't make me happy.
(I would be offended that he or she didn't trust me, I would even feel that he or she underestimate me or put me on a pedestal that I don't deserve)
If you think that this is how someone who loves you should behave, what you want is just "take".
(You practically want or expect to be a "spoiled princess" in your relationship)

Firstly, there is no such romantic relationship between Kyoko and Ren because as Ren has stated before: Kyoko is a minor. If you ask me that is a real and important reason for him not to get involved romantically in her aside from the fact that he still has his personal trauma that he's dealing with. Kyoko on the other hand aside from her personal trust issues with love has also the problem that she has him on a pedestal and sees him as untouchable. The only relationship they have is that they worked together in 1 drama and that they know each other. Hell you cant even say they're really friend with the way Kyoko treats him like an acting guide/god.
So with all that, specially with the Japanese culture of not bothering others with your problems, is reasonable that neither of them says anything because , I repeat, they are only co-workers. Hell asking someone about a "secret relationship with a minor" when you are not even friends is rude and intrusive even in other cultures.
I'm not saying this is ok, but at the same time in-story time it has been a little less than 2 years. Kyoko is focusing on her acting career and both characters are evolving slowly like a real person usually does. If anything I'm glad she snapped at him because this broke her image of him of being perfect and always right. And with that her realisation that he is human and she can treat him as one. And finally, finally be friends.
So TL;R both have actual reason for not saying shit. So no, they are not idiots that keep quiet for the sake of others.

Honestly I had not thought so seriously about their age difference, because on the one hand I'm in favor of relationships with a big age difference, on the other hand Ren is not an adult who is seducing a child for dirty purposes, and both Kyoko and Ren are quite devout with each other.
(Normally the problem that there is with the relationships of age difference, it revolves around sex, pregnancy, and circumstances of having babies without being able to take care of them, sincerely, although they started a romantic relationship in the present, I do not think they would have those problems)
But I think you have a good point there, and you also psychoanalyze the characters quite well, from the motives of Ren and Kyoko.
I do not say that they are idiots in the bad sense of the word, only that due to their problems, and their way of handling those problems, even more problems are created. But I understand that it's normal for those two, and that it's just going to take time.
And I am also glad that they have tended this discussion, that will help to connect their feelings better.

The manga doesn't seem bad to me, I like its drawing design, the characters are charming and adorable, and the story is not boring.
What I don't like is that it has many stereotypes of gender, sexuality, romance, and manga shoujo in general: Only men have zombies (Apparently girls doesn't have sexual desires or fetishes in this manga), it don't treat lgtb topics seriously (Everyone is conveniently straight), and if two people like each other it is just because they are opposite gender and sexually attracted (In this manga the sexual attraction = romance), besides that they are winding up with the plot and they are making it unnecessarily long, not to say that they don't treat other topics with the seriousness that it deserve (I expected more about the Ibuki's revenge, or the case of her parents' divorce) but they left it as jokes to laugh.
And the worst thing is that they leave men in this manga as "We are perverts who only follow their first love by sexual instinct, but we are men and we can not help it", and girls like "Even if he is a pervert, he still seems very manly and I like him for that", for me it is what irritates me the most.

Hate to say this but I actually don't care about diversity, still the fact that it was only (straight) men that had a FLZ pissed me off too, I'm very curious and I want to see women's etc FLZs but I'm aware that's not going to happen. I can't really say anything about how the author depicts Men and women cause I just want to laugh. I have to ask how can you stand reading or watching anything that has lesson to be learned, especially if it is obvious? But yeah I can feel some of you pain, I don't quite understand the other issues but we all have different interests so I'm really not judging I'm just confused. Also dragging it out or not this manga made laugh and angry so much I really don't want it to end and my heart is going to break once again. I just got to learn to let go. Oops I'm rambling...

The drawing is fine, it is well documented historically, and it respects many things...
BUT
IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SEXIST MANGAS I HAVE READ IN MY LIFE!!!
It pisses me off so much that I don´t enjoy the story at all, and it pisses me off even more knowing that there was a time when that kind of attitude and behavior towards women was considered "normal," and the worst thing is that these women tolerated it, and left to men do what they want with them.
At that time every girl wanted to be a girl from the court, but I would have preferred to be poor to be treated like a pretty puppet all my life.
I don´t like this manhwa!
The only thing worth of this manhwa is Eunju.
I am curious about her past, and what will happen to her in the future, is the only thing that makes me follow the manhwa.
