idk mans is kinda violent in the first chapter. and keeping her locked up and isolated? that shit causes her to get messed up, she’s literally happy when she dies cuz she is being set free. even if she cheated on him with 1000 men (she literally says she don’t got the time for an affair) ptsd does not make a person abusive. maybe if he had a flashback while sleeping and she’s there he might by accidently push her or sum, but his entire demeanor in the first chapter enough for me to mark him as a red flag, men who use physical power to intimidate or dominate are scaaaaaryyyyyy, he’s showing no concern or respect for her wellbeing. even if he has ptsd, schizophrenia, and their entire family died, mans can still be a red flag if he don’t treat women right
Not trying to excuse his actions but there is some reason to why he acts that way. Recent chapters we see that their relationship is slowly improving a bit so they probably do get to a point in their relationship where they’re loving to each other. But because of the rumors about her affairs, he wants to keep her isolated in order for her not to meet other men and he probably felt betrayed by it. Hes already an emotional train wreck and now his wife, his only hope, runs off with other men.
yea I can see how his backstory has made him obsessive, I just rlly can’t get over the arm squeezing and his refusal to stop when she says he’s hurting her. mans is stronger than her and using that against her to get what he wants I rlly can’t see past that, but we’ll see how the reception arc goes
