51 chapters in and we're nowhere near any sign of story progress. some chapters are literally filled with nothing. im one of the few that gave this the benefit of the doubt especially with mc but rn i cant even defend him anymore. this isn't slow burn either because no amount of tension is built. it's just painfully SLOW

korean bl is allergic to healthy communication and ik this trope's been done before but to some well-written characters and good story flow that trope works but in this book it's just TIRED. it's tired and mc has the personality of a wet blanket. literally nothing. just a blank piece of paper. even the shy types have personalities outside of them being quiet and shy. this mc is just..... a cement. and this is coming from someone who adores the quiet and soft ones. im basically saying he's not well-written and theres no depth to his character. the whole story feels that way to me. and since some other readers said this is from a novel i was expecting a good story since novels that are usually adapted to a different type of media means that that shit has huge potential. man was this book a letdown lol i sound so harsh im sorry i havent eaten yet
