Yeah, Klopp is the real monster of this story. He did suffer after, Aelock’s death, after most of the children left with their beloved, he slowly went insane in his old age. He would see a light in the cabin, he would cry and scream for Aelock… only to end up staring at Aelock’s tombstone.
His suffering cannot compare to what he put Aelock through… but he’ll live in his hell…
This has a novel if you want to read season 2, it’s on knoxt, volume 2! The translation is fantastic, it’s really good.

Honestly the ending is even worse and it has a long time to come so... We still have so many horrible things left to happen
The ending is not bad I think. I expect the ending like that from the start from kind of story like this.
Because the ending is realistic. In real life most abusive victims will still end up with his abuser in abusive relationship because of certain reasons. Just read this to see things in different perspective (only if you have strong mental), not just only unrealistic fantasy romance.

There's abuse and then there's this. Ik abuse is bad mentally, physically, emotionally but I think the type of abuse victims which you're talking about is those who mostly get psychologically abused because they're psychologically undeveloped (in most cases. Eg- Yoonbum from KS) But in physically abused victim's cases, I don't think they'll wanna end up with their abusers because they're mentally strong and know that they're being trapped and manupulated by their abuser.

It's realistic from the point of view of someone who has stockholm syndrome like Haewon (he has only temporary amnesia btw). No matter what, he has always soft spot for Haeyoung, especially when he knows Haeyoung love him back and Haeyoung is the only person who always by his side now matter what in the past. And you know, not every suicide is succesful even in real life.
I don't think Haewon gets Stockholm syndrome because he tried running away multiple times. Even just in recent chapter he ran away but got found out because of that dumb 3rd friend. Even in later chapters he will keep trying to run away (synopsis in first chapter) but will fail because he will get caught. So how can you say that Haewon has Stockholm syndrome!? This is No realistic ending even from his perspective ╥﹏╥
Any sane people will run away from beginning and won't fall in love with an obvious psycho who hit you when you only make small mistakes. That's most obvious symptomp. And if you read the novel (not only read half spoiler from other), you will know that.
