i just can't understand what the tone of the story is supposed to be?
so many conflicting plots and expressions, its just not coherent with itself. I though the officials would help me understand it better, but it still doesn't make any sense
I get none of the characters' motivations and i don't get what's driving the story either. IMO, it lacks a central focus point that runs the plot
I agree.
A lot is happening, but none of it follows any internal logic. It feels like the author is throwing in whatever looks cool. The skin masks and infiltration setup make no sense when the male lead is basically a one man army mowing people down in plain view. The main character swings from being a lieutenant with real authority to a naive rent boy to a supposed master manipulator and then right back to a helpless rent boy. (To be clear, my issue is with his inconsistent characterization and nothing else.)
There is no structure. There is no plot. There is no coherent sequence of events. It reads like a pile of random ideas the author thought sounded cool and dumped into the panels without any planning.
i just NEED him to fuck the gangster at least once PLEASE please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please im begging literally on ny knees just ONCE please please please please please please please please please please please please fuck the ml he can burn for all i care
I just hate ml SO much
like, he doesn't seem to even regret raping mc, he still views it as part of his revenge, he just caught feelings in the middle. he still justifies it as revenge, he still views it as something he had to do even though mc had literally nothing to do with his family's passing since he was a fucking child
like, did he forget chapter 29?????? I'm sorry, but he's completely irredeemable to me, there's no ANY amount of regret and grovelling that can undo what's been done
the worst part is that Luke probably wouldn't even mind that the photo spread.
I don't think he'd have a problem with their relationship made public, he'd just worry about Andrew cause of his being famous and what Andrew would think, but Luke? I don't think he'd care
yeah like I don't think Luke being gay/in a relationship with a man would destroy it.
like yeah homophobia is still a big big deal and it would be harder, but I wasn't denying that, I was saying he still wouldn't care.
I think he'd say its worth it, we saw it a few chapters ago that he's really sad and disappointed that they can't go public, I think he'd believe in being himself proudly and loudly, and becoming someone despite the difficulties
and also yeah, this is modern times and a progressive city, I dont think it'd be as disastrous as some think

im so fucking tired of rape thats not addressed/depicted as such.
look, I'm a big big big fan of angst and suffering, i like my stories dark and painful, so when theres rape, it usually doesn't bother me, if its depicted correctly.
what bothers me is this washed up, rose tinted, lovey dovey version of something that should be treated as the tragedy it is. what was the point of this??
rape can be a meaningful plot device, it can bring something to the story, but if you just put assault into the story without even addressing it as such, then what's the point?
its not painful because the victim "actually wants it", it's not guilty because the perpetrator doesn't view it as a bad thing, its not tragic, its not angsty, its not devastating. you draw rape and call it love, to have the audacity to not even address it, to not explain, to not have consequences? what the fuck????
the thing is, every action has consequences. that's how you build a story. why put something in that literally has no point? it won't be talked about, it won't affect the plot, it won't change the characters in any way. its just junk filler, trivialising something that at the very least, should be treated with respect.
and I'm going off here, but every fucking author does this and I'm so so so tired.
you wanna put rape in your story, fine! I don't care, I might even like it, but god put some weight on it. it is a HEAVY topic. it should be addressed as such.
this misunderstanding plot could have had the same impact on the story without the assault, and I'm tired of author taking the easy way out to excuse themselves out of actually thinking their story out.
