it feels like there are panels or whole chapters missing that would explain why they are behaving the way they are behaving with each other. and time skips or flashbacks are not signalled in any way, so you just jump from one place to another, have one person there and then another one instead, etc. i genuinely have no idea what is happening.

i love how the creator keeps the story going by incorporating new characters organically and then giving us more insight into their lives and troubles. it all feels connected and natural, and that is praiseworthy. when you manage to make side characters not just crutches for main characters but unique and driven enough to be main characters with an own story to them, you know you're a good writer.

lmfaooo all that build-up, and we get this sudden, rushed, unresolved ending?
we had 52.5 chapters of two dudes trying to love each other but being held back due to angst, psychological issues, homophobia, intimacy issues, inferiority complexes, family issues, broken friendships, jealousy, fear, education pressure, and literally 0.5 chapters of them just throwing all that aside, acing the CSAT and fucking???? i don't think one more chapter is gonna save this dumpsterfire ending that came out of left field.

and let me tell you: this is one of the best yaoi out there. it's so wholesome, realistic, relatable and doesn't use miscommunication, fetishization, unnecessary and overthe top drama, cliches, tropes or stereotypes to keep the plot afloat. i wasn't a fan of the side story, but it wasn't bad. definitely hope to see more from this creator in the future.
also i am glad we didn't have to consume the story over the span of THREE DAMN YEARS and could instead just read it all in one go once it got bundled into a volume lol

i know this is supposed to be really dramatic and shocking, but it just came off as over the top ridiculous and misplaced lmfaoooo
the story was so good so far, but now with this dumbass twist i can't take it seriously anymore ahahahahaah what a fail

is everyone suffering from amnesia or face-blindness??? like, they both heard and read each others' names, saw each others' faces in the past and in the present, and you're telling me they both just fucking forgot about each other until they saw each others' year book photos?
so stupid and forced.
what's even the point of this twist? han was already a groomer, what with the intentional anal fingering "therapy" of a patient who actually really only wanted medical advice. making han hyuk's adolescent groomer on top of it, while also making them forget about each other and completely ignore these identity-impacting experience they both had with each other, seems nonsensical to me. so stupid, i can't believe the author really did it lmao

it just seems stupid and out of place for me atm.
i already suspected the author might go that route when they didn't show the tutor's face, made the friend think "where have i seen him before? he looks familiar" when he saw han, and making han react with surprise upon opening hyuk's yearbook. but i hate that it actually went that way, bc it feels so out of place and forced. for now.
maybe it will make sense why no one in the story recognized each other, forgot about an integral sexual experience that should have impacted their personality and mentality forever, and why han being a groomer and a two-faced playboy wasn't enough to create drama between the couple and add spice to the story.

this is so damn good, on truly all levels...
also i am convinced that disgusting brother poisoned the lover ugh. i mean, why would he have a whole arsenal of a rare medicine the richest among the rich can't get a hold of? does he just shit them out? no, and bc none of the servants have ever seen something so rare and expensive, he can just dish them this convenient lie and get away with murder while simultaneously looking selfless and ready to help. why else would he say to our MC that he's waiting for him while he's helping "cure" his rival?
that seme is sus af... he's giving me color-recipe-seme vibes. i bet he is the possessive kind that likes to manipulate things to turn out exactly the way he wants, with the uke dependent on him and clinging onto him for support (even though he is the one responsible for the dilemma). bet the murder came very conveniently, he got rid of a rival and can now play hero.
