Im not blaming him at all, I’m just wondering... is it normal to not visit your family like AT ALL? like I get it if they’re on bad terms and they weren’t at the best, but still??
Kind of implied that he has a very detached relationship with his family. Was only in talks with his sis bc she leeched off of him and he has trouble saying no. His parents didn’t even communicate with him in the first place bc they doted on his sister. Different kinds of neglectful parenting since he was outright neglected but forced to continue his lessons and sisters form of neglect is just spoiled rotten. They thought that if she tried a variety of things she would stick to something but she’s a waste of air.
Also seems like he was really focused on work to help pay for his family (lbr sister’s lifestyle) while he was in the city, and going back takes time. Like he probably took on a ton of projects and jobs at the same time to help out “the family”
And he wasn’t just sending $100 or $200 a month, he was sending THOUSANDS a MONTH. He sent like the equivalent of $50k on what he thought were home renovations.(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Work life is totally and completely insane in Japan esp when deadlines are tight so I’m not surprised he didn’t visit.
