uno you have to stop. your mind too smart. your swag too different. your aura too sexy. they'll kill you

obsessive tops don't always work for me bc sometimes it just feels like a cheap plot device and often based on some childhood story from when they were five years old where the mc gave the ml an orange or something or the mc is just super plain so it just isn't convincing. but here's it's a product of ACTUAL chemistry AND uno is sexy and smart and attractive as hell so it makes sense ... RIP your ass uno i can't wait to see it happen

tehir and charin both suffer from intense shame/inferiority complexes and it manifesting in different ways..jin and kimoto also hiding parts of themselves out of their love (jin literally brainwashing himself into someone "dumber" and submissive to appease charin, kimoto living in a constant state of anxiety and fear but repressing it through a placid, "rational" veneer). charin was comfortable with jin playing "stupid" because it validated the only sense of control he had in his life (until it was no longer satisfying and he fell in love w/ jin). kimoto's unbothered attitude making tehir feel especially "weak" BECAUSE kimoto seems like a patronizing caretaker...perceptions of power are always so interesting to me, especially in romantic relationships. and you can that perception is driving so many of the characters here

first so funny that the mc was googling lawsuits/discplinary measures/manslaughter lol.. also just so hilarious to me how different they are in literally everything possible so their conversations are super off-kilter ....i love the mc losing his smiley/slimey politician politeness and just revealing his "true" irritated self? he's basically the relateable, dead in the eye working man...mc is so used to everyone treating him with respect meanwhile ml is this young, weirdo kinda whimsical guy who can take everything in stride and forthright and unashamed in what he wants..(also a cutie)
their dynamic and conversation is so fun to me (ml: coochie eyes, mc: wtf?????). still can't imagine them fucking but the unpredictability is what makes it so refreshing i'm so excited to see where this goes

surprised everyone thinks nanjo just has 0 clue as to what's going on when clearly he isn't that into the twink anymore (skipping his bday) and he's been having mini revelations about mokyeon in prior chapters (realizing mokyeon cooked him seafood without liking it, understanding that mokyeon and the twink have a bdsm/safeword relationship, etc).
i lowkey think nanjo knows the truth and does having some feelings for mokyeon but he's still confused and thinks he's being played by both mokyeon and the twink. you can tell he's been softening and doesn't think of mokyeon as an violent aggressor abusing the twink and even sometimes is quite soft with him. but whenever the three of them hang out together i think he notices the close dynamic mokyeon and the twink have (in this chapter too, maybe it seems to him that they keep talking about each other and are toying with him). maybe he even thinks mokeyeon likes the twink and that's why mokyeon keeps trying to get him to leave the twink
ALSO i remember seeing this chart somewhere the author made about the character preferences and nanjo actually is really possessive (compared to mokyeon...so food for thought)

so when nanjo asks "are you ready to let seonhwa go" you can see it also as him trying to figure out if mokyeon still likes seonhwa too..and ofc each time mokyeon's response either makes it seem like he doens't want to let seonhwa go OR seonhwa's the one who's hanging on to him. etc
so even right now as mokyeon is "exposing" seonhwa to nanjo it just seems like he's flaunting in nanjo's face how seonhwa was never into him. (nanjo likely doesn't care that much about seonhwa now, but its confirmation to him that mokyeon was playing him? or doens't like him?) i think if you combine this with how when they're together seonhwa and mokyeon have tons of internal references about how close they are and nanjo can't get a word in this theory could make sense..

This i feel exactly the same way and i feel u can tell he is possessive even jn the beginning he believes and trust blindly thats not bad but it also makes him foolish and arrogant when he blamed only mokyeon and mokyeon tried to explain himself but nanjo would not allow hence i do not think nanjo is as innocent (victim) as some claum but in fact both are victim to there own foolish game ans stance tho i def see a stronger connection with both of them than the twink

exactlyy we're on the same page. once we get nanjo's side of the story i can see everyone flipping to his side LOL but it also annoyed me that nanjo was so presumptious and judgy towards mokyeon (and tbh maybe lowkey classist) at the beginning. it's def a story where they're both flawed characters so i hope the author maintains that too, i don't really want to see one character being clearly in the wrong and having to grovel - it's better when they both mess up in certain ways and have to navigate it heh.

like omg so self-destructive and sabotaging he's definitely going to say something that he really regrets next chapter...it's hard to imagine what happens next bc even though it would make sense for nanjo to leave (assuming he has feelings for mokyoen and will be hurt) i can't imagine mokyeon going after him bc mokyeon has such a low sense of self-esteem. on the other hand though i can't really see nanjo going after mokyeon either..like who's gonna take the initiative here...

like i actually enjoy the fact that despite being kind and smooth and competent (seemingly perfect in yunho's eyes) he's also kind of ruthlessly cold with his relationships and how he draws boundaries. (this is sooo in line with me liking characters that are warm on the outside and have some coldness on the inside lol) and also unintentionally callous bc he's stubborn with imposing his worldview (ie fooling himself in certain ways bc he actually is unwilling to tap into his own feelings and instead is operating out of instinctive need to keep yunho close) in some ways he's still being very alpha/dominating rn
yunho is still a bit too lovelorn and passive for me..i hope for the sake of character development yunho runs off eventually, getting the space he really needs and becoming his own person with his own agency who can hold his own against haewon. i think it's necessary for the plot
i really do enjoy stories where one character percieves the other character as having all the power in the relationship and then they/we later realize that that was never the case
yuwon wanting dohoon to blame him for everything so that dohoon can externalize all of his feelings of inadequacy/guilt etc and finally externalize all of his unhappiness and emotions onto an external target instead of constant blame himself.. lowkey selfless love even as he's selfish as hell whoa
