i mean yea it’s small but it can still be hella traumatic to readers. similarly, if someone was reading a horror story then they would also probably stop reading if they were too scared to continue reading. and while the author did provide a warning about it, it makes sense for readers to drop it if they are uncomfortable with the content.

Its considered manly because they’re demonstrating their dominance or superiority over something weaker than them. It happens a lot where Im from and it makes me sick.

Hello... To further explain my statement. I guess its something like... You know John Wick, imagine if those bastards just killed his dog cause they were unjustifiably pissed at John, and John just says meh, not my problem anymore. Or if Joaquin Phoenix's Joker just took every single beating until he dies and no one even bats an eye to the injustices done to him. Kinda extreme, I know but thats kinda how i felt about that panel.
