This is a satisfying read if you're looking for a story where the good guys are good and the bad guys get their comeuppance and that's pretty much all there is to it. I didn't really feel a connection to the MC though and I felt like his powers were seriously fluctuating throughout the plot (he can defeat an entire building of gang members but he still has to drag out a fight with one high school bully) but it was still nice to see him beat up people. One thing I hated is how the women in this story were just like... supportive fodder. They showed Seung Ha throwing a fast punch at the beginning of the story but then for the rest of us she was just weak and submissive. She didn't serve any purpose other than riling up the MC's righteous indignation. I would have preferred to see her beat up the guys who abused her (and it's really not that fair fetched, if the MC could somehow manage to beat up guys three times his size and take down an entire gang, I'm sure the authors could have come up with a way for Seung Ha to get her revenge). Also Tae Sik is a rag and I did not care for his character. He's one of those weak people that never try to do anything about their weakness but blame and latch on to others. Like it's obvious he would betray the MC if someone better came along. But yeah, at least the story was completed and it wasn't too tragic.
Why's that old man trying to become head of the family so much? Shouldn't he focus more on... idk living out the rest of his days peacefully or whatever
I had a stroke reading this. Sorry but I think you got it a little mixed upWho looks at who as a parent again? Iwaizumi
my bad, sorry XD, i tend to comment quickly without thinking on how others will view it. But I meant to say that maybe Shifu, who acts like a parental figure to her, doesn't look at her like he used to before. Romantic or platonic love? Or is it between?
