I don’t know why everyone’s trashing him. He obviously has issues why and we’re literally being shown it now through the flashbacks. I was frustrated with him, too, but it’s been hinted a lot what was in the past with his ex fucked him up.
People don’t immediately bounce back just because you want them to. He’s still struggling with shame too bc he hasn’t told his mom even though she seems like she’d slowly come around. I DO wish he could have been more open with Mo, but he also has a lot to lose if it goes wrong from a professional standpoint. At the same time, their chemistry is still there and they both care about each other. That tells us they WILL work through it, it will just take time.
Hell, Dangerous Convenience store had a 3 year(?) time gap and folks still ate that shit up. It feels like Xiao is being dragged because y’all aren’t being instantly gratified.
At 78+ in, we’re literally at the turning point where Xiao mans up and works through it. But y’all are still mad at him? We are just who this ex is — and if that man really had addiction problems, that shit is HARD to deal with as a partner. That’s some /grown/ ass shit, not the high school stupid mess.
TLDR;
To conclude, my issue is the slow burn and his communication at times. But my issue is NOT that he has to work through things like a human who’s been hurt before. That is not unrealistic.
Mo is patiently waiting because he loves Xiao, and that’s his choice. It will likely work out in the end.
at least captain is grown and not a literal school girl. Y’all forget that Hajin isn’t a real high schooler but a grown ass man playing a character.
She is strong and we don’t know much about her yet, so there’s room to improve personality wise. Be for real
...right. i guess the captain is the most suitable FL here personality-wise. but i just wish she and Hajin won't get together until much later when he's old enough. then at least, regardless of the age gap, theyre all adults
i get that Hajin's "soul" is a grown ass man playing a character, but that character has a body of a teenager... hopefully Captain doesn't get attracted to him when he still looks like a literal kid bc that's just borderline pedo...

I like an OP character but if he’d automatically won, that’d be overly convenient. I don’t feel like he has to be the strongest in the murim. Haryoon should be as the mc
The fact that he even got this far was kind of pushing it tho bc he was beyond exhausted once those bells came out. I feel like from then on Haryoon should have stepped in rather than him managing to fight through bc it was an uphill fight from the beginning
