I know that spontaneous gay confessions are hard (and I agree that the girl is selfish and Hoyoung is an idiot),

But I just still can’t get over how Beom kind of made it like “Love me or leave me.” I get it that’s its hard to be in a position of unrequited love, but it’s also difficult to be on the other side where someone is like “if you don’t feel this way let’s cut ties”. I’d be so broken if a childhood friend said that to me.

From Beom’s POV, everything has been going on for a long time, but from the other side it is very sudden. I’m not saying Beom’s feelings aren’t valid but when you’ve felt something way longer than someone else has, you can’t just expect them to automatically fall for you in the same time. Or just say yes or no. Maybe for Minkyu, that was a method (bc he is a super idiot), but Hoyoung is the thoughtful type and doesn’t want to hurt Beom. He’s more focused on fixing things, even if in idiotic ways.

I know this manhwa will probably be cliche and they’ll end up together anyway, but it’d honestly be cool if they could find a way to mend their friendship. Like it’s totally okay not to love him back, ya know?

Exactly!!! I hated that Beom made it an ultimatum and while I understand that things wouldn't truly go back to the way they were, surely he should also understand that Hoyoung knew nothing about his romantic affections and that he genuinely considered him to be something like his brother. And I didn't like how this manhwa shows that the only thing that can exist between two people who've been so close to each other that they'll sorely miss the other person's presence in their life is romantic love. This is just invalidating Hoyoung's feelings and while I get that this is just a work of fiction, it's still wrong of Beom to have that mindset about this.

Yeah I get that too. I know it’s fiction as well, so I don’t want to get too heated, and I like Minkyu and Junhyung, but it’d be nice if this BL could’ve been different where the side friends’ feelings are valid but don’t necessarily have to be love. I feel for Beom and don’t want him hurting, but he also seems strong to the point where if he’s rejected I really think he would eventually be okay. It’s difficult to be in friend groups like this where one person has an ultimatum. Also your name cracks me up.

Beom did not force his feeling on Hoyoung. He did not expect anything. Hell, he was willing to hide them! But when your friend sets you up on a date with a girl not long after you confess and then slaps you when you tell them how you feel about it, a line was crossed so another one has to be drawn. Beom was not in the wrong nor was he selfish. Hoyoung and that girl were being toxic.

I feel like the comments are so unsatisfied because his personality is still the same, but you shouldn’t have to completely change for your partner regardless. Dojin loves him like that, and Hyesung has had moments where he really thought about his future or baby Byul. The Hyesung at the beginning of the story wouldn’t have done any of this. Even though he has a weird denial flex, his actions say otherwise. I’m not really sure what everyone is expecting. Some people don’t say it through words but it doesn’t mean they don’t love their partner, ya know?

And can we just appreciate the sister in a suit as well like she has such dominant energy I love it.

His "denial flex" that you mentioned is because he's a tsundere

I hate when a BL couple can’t get it together due to one thing or another and the blame is immediately shifted to a side or female character. As if half of you greedy mongrels wouldn’t do the same if you were in her place. I just hate when one character is treated as the enemy outside a relationship, when in reality, if YuYang’s self esteem was half of what he pretends it to be on the outside, they may have already reached their shaky start. I’m not blaming him for being hurt, but you guys are blind if you’re really ignoring how every time a confession is about to happen it goes like this:

• I’m a coward I can’t admit I like you.

WangWang may have been a trigger, but if the idea of someone being interested in his hot tall attractive guy is too much for YuYang to handle, then his relationship will always be threatened. I understand the beginning when he couldn’t tell LiHuan’s intentions or if he was serious. But he’s done MORE than proven himself now. I just hate that WangWang is suddenly the fujoshi enemy when a relationship that is sturdy wouldn’t even be shaken by a friend’s encouragement. She told no lies.

Like damn I’m glad he fucked him up but I don’t want Jiwon to get in disciplinary council or something or get removed since he hit the guy first. Honestly, those other bitches in student council seem like the type to just sit quiet considering they knew the bully was still bullying hoobaes and that he did it before.

Let’s be honest. The bully isn’t the only shitty one here. People with the power to do something who bystand are a different type of trash. I don’t know what’s going to happen in the next chapter but I have a feeling that Jiwon will be blamed for everything.

Honestly hate societies like this the most where everyone is just pressured to “endure”. Where all the blame falls to a few people.

If the black-haired priest is the priest.
The blond rich man is the vampire.
And the man at the end is the vampire. . .

Then there's the brown boy who was resurrected.

SO who the fuck is reading the story? Because the resurrected boy looks an awful lot like the MAN who was sitting in the chair sipping tea while the woman read the book.

This is suspect as fuck. We've got a mystery on our hands, fam, because he may just be reading through his own flashback for all we know.

MAURY HELP

I don't think that Hoyoung has to like Beom back for their relationship to be mended. These stories often do this thing where the only side characters left are kind of grouped into a relationship and it isn't always believable, IMHO. But, in this case, I don't think they automatically have to be together just because they're going through a fight. Like, it is possible for them to still treasure each other and not become enemies if one isn't gay after all. I think that Hoyoung doesn't know what to do with his feelings or how to be conscious of Beom's feelings. Like, have you guys ever been liked by a close friend? Even if straight, that shit is awkward because you don't always feel that way about your friends.

However, I really can't imagine Hoyoung having feelings for Beom. But that doesn't mean that they'll be in a broken friendship forever. They've been with each other for super long. And it would be "convenient" for them to date considering they live next to each other. But I think it would be more monumental if they could still stay friends and break the trope.

I know that this story will likely follow the typical "side friends together" trope - - but I really don't think it has to be that way all of the time, because in reality, it often isn't.

I love that the older sister isn't married.

"You're the one that needs to get married. You're 40 next year."
"I'm still 37. And I don't care. It's mom and dad who care -.-"

I thought this was really important because if anyone is over the age of 20, you likely have felt some pressure to "have a family" or even get married at some point. In society, I feel like single people are often discouraged from being happy on their own once they get older. It sucks because people associate being single with being lonely, and that's not always true. It's possible that the sister is dating or just feels fulfilled in her family role. She may even be in a relationship and just doesn't want kids or marriage. I feel like that's super cool.

And I like how seeing Dojin's parents, Hyesung could see that a bad marriage isn't the only way to be married. I think it's okay that he doesn't want to get married, but if it's out of fear that it'll go wrong, then I hope he can work through that.

Also are there any lesbian alpha/omega relationships?? If the older sister were to find a guy she likes, how does pregnancy work if the alpha is a woman and the omega is male? Does she have to find an alpha male or something? Can two alphas even be together?

I'm not savvy on the a/b/o stuff, so if anyone knows that's be cool.

"He eats a lot... just like a male beta."

L M F A O what the fuck. I'm sorry, but this shit is funny as hell because this man is literally like doing a science project on this date with Haesoo XD hahahah

And I knew Haesoo was uptight but I choked laughing like 'damn this bro need a whole hand to take this monster alpha dick.' *cackle*

"There's no way. I feel like it's come up to my throat."

AUTHOR YOU ARE KILLING ME

OH my gosh and the Master's facial expressions are so calm the whole time. He's just quietly analyzing this situation. I can just picture him writing in his Beta journal later for research, and it is killing me. This is really too much.

I AM CRYING

Real talk though *wipe eyes* The older brother is kind of hot. I admit, he looked super boring before, but his shirtless panels look so mature and ripped. It's honestly refreshing.

I didn't realize betas had to many issues and are basically not cared about in society. Haesoo's insecurity quirk makes more sense now because the story never really explained the society dynamic for betas.
