I still stick beside the opinion of: progression >>> OP, if not a nice balance of the two
he’ll gift you an entire industrial complex so that you can be a candidate for next demon lord
I’m glad our offbred son is not drinking the purple haired kool-aid but a jealousy sub arc is a waste of panels. Like give us real conflict
that he still hiding his identity while knowing he needs all of his power and might even need help. I get it bc id hate being in the limelight too but bro you boutta be cooked
a backstory for his species instead of Mir just being a pokemon that the mc does nothing with like some stories. Yay. And I love dragons
Lmaooo I waited for end of season so I’m like 50 chapters behind. Itadakimasu ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Some comments are talking like Roman and his soldiers feats have not been impressive thus far just because there will be sacrifices. Hell, they've been TOO impressive for a fairly new dukedom/powership whatever he's called. They been growing at unnatural paces because of his literal past life knowledge. If he hadn't immediately submitted, Chronos would have crushed him anyway, we just didn't know they were actually strong as hell.
But Chronos being strong is not unrealistic, just unexpected. The nation has been biding their time to conquer everyone for decades and has clearly hoarded all of the talent and resources. This isn't and shouldn't be an easy fight.
Just because we enjoy seeing Roman win doesn't mean he has to be overpowered and win easily just because he's great. Like, all of these manhwa with Day 1 OP protagonists have really been spoiling people into wanting instant gratification all of the time, and it's weird.
I like that other manhwa 'Tyrant of the Tower Defense Game' for similar reason that they don't just win because "Look at me, I'm some cool guy with past cheats" there is ups and downs that the MC has to overcome.
Sorry not sorry, Vesper. Lmaooo the dominos were really set up to be knocked down by being terrible. I hope the family leave Arthur tf alone and let him build his strength up in peace. I don't want him to become the successor just to have to play those stupid political games again bc it seems like he's actually happier just being inspired to grow on his own
He could be a next generation strong individual like Kartein, Kayden, Dogmen, etc
They don’t make em like this anymore. Solid. Great female characters. Great side characters. Great hidden storylines and reveals. Main character is consistent and yet his growth is clear. Ending is satisfying enough. 10/10. Id love side stories but am okay without. This could honestly have a sequel series because the world building is so solid.
his first few panels were actually terrifying to me at the time. This art keeps upgrading on us. Go best frand
good storyline and mentally strong fl.
in this list, you'll see more of a 'mentally strong women', which means smart, cunning, calculative and quick wicked.
i hate it when a 30 yrs old woman gets reincarnated as a 5 yrs old and acts like a baby + extra hate when they have a crush on a 5 yrs old so i'll try my best to not add those weird ass stories and instead add tolerable ones
i delete many of the stories i add later on if they become boring etc. even if they have a strong fl <3
Looking like actual goofy the dog sat down and decided to make a comic cause what the fuck.
I’m not usually a stickler about these things but it messes with the tone of the story to where I feel like I can’t take it seriously. And that upsets me so much because we literally never fucking get SHONEN BL that is also serious and in the hunter genre without some weird alpha or esper whatever bullshit. Like this is straight up BL action fantasy.
And no I don’t care if yall are upset with me for not liking it ??? I said what the fuck I said
I feel that given more time, Duke could have had some sort of redemption. Not full 180, but a change. And tbh even with all his bad, it was still possible for him to become some kind of antihero even — but like his master said, his mindset ruined him. That said, I don’t remember his master once telling him this before in a way that wasn’t bad for his mental health. So the weight of those word’s didn’t hit for me.
The vibe is: “That’s what you get” after watching him descend? Huh.
I’m not happy Duke is gone because nothing changes whether he is here or not. He’s not a Zuko or an Azula. We weren’t given some traumatic backstory to relate to him. He’s like a stand-in character that just shows us how everyday villains are made in this world. Bc any other villain could have been him. He almost doesn’t matter because even the top ten around him seem to care less whether he lives or dies.
This is a terrible world awakeners live in. And I’m almost impressed that the writer never backtracked on that just to make us comfortable.
That said, because we spent so much screen time with him, ending his story just like that is dissatisfying.
Duke is cringey but he really puts into perspective how dog eat dog this awakened world is. From the jump, his master took on someone who would betray their own family, classmates and even kill/mortally wound them. And he saw the obsessive evil in Duke but never once confronted him. Even Royst only pretended to look after him, he just belittled Duke whenever he got the chance. The other top ten only look upon the situation, but none of these powerful people ever actually say anything. They don’t care as long as the apprentice is useful. The only ones who did actually talk to Duke were the evil guys trying to use him & bait him with promises of power. It’s insane how he can be a bad apple and still really a pawn on a fucked up board. If he dies, another apple will take his place because the whole barrel is rotten.
Like Kayden says, Jiwoo is the weird one for having awakened friends and a moral compass. The rest of this awakened world is monstrous. Jiwoo has all these powerful babysitters, but if any of the stronger assassins really wanted to take him out for the plot, I don’t see why they couldn’t while he’s on a walk. They just probably don’t have a strong enough reason to (given that it’d seal their fates). But what if there was another unaffiliated psycho that didn’t have ties to an organization…
