God i can’t believe i forgot i read this, this is one of my favorite childhood friends to lovers manga. They’re so cute and its so nice seeing their relationship progress. The panels of them as kids in the most recent chapter made me tear up
For those who doesn’t remember who tf Seontae-sunbae is, he’s the guy Hyejoo, Dawoon’s ex-friend (the short haired blonde), had a crush on. For context, here’s a summary of the flashbacks from Ch 63 to 67

Heyjoo asked Dawoon to be her wingwoman so she could get close to Seontae since she was too shy to ask him herself. Dawoon would invite him to meals, Heyjoo would join and then Dawoon would excuse herself so they could have alone time. Things were going well, mostly.
There were rumors going around that Dawoon was the one interested in Seontae since people would see her when asking him to hang out. Even though Heyjoo knew that wasn't true, she still felt self-conscious and worried about it. Anyway, the Hyejoo’s birthday was coming up and Seontae wanted to get her a gift and asked Dawoon over for help. She left late at night, and one of Shitty-sunbae’s friends took a photo of them and sent it to him.
So shitty-sunbae was still pissed at Dawoon and Hyejoo for humiliating him in front of the department previously. He heard about the rumor about Dawoon and Seontae from the friend mentioned earlier. When the friend sent him the photo, he decided to use it to get his revenge by spreading the photo and adding on to the rumors already going around.
The next day the rumor spread all over the school that Dawoon and Seontae were dating and slept together despite Dawoon knowing that Hyejoo had a crush on him. Hyejoo and Dawoon grew distant. Seontae tried to figure out who started the rumor but it happened so quick making it difficult and he also had to leave for practical training (military stuff?) in the middle of all of it so I dont think he ever explained to Hyejoo (she probably didnt want to hear it at the time either...)

Another manhwa that’s has a mildly similar start as this is “What’s Going On?”. Childhood friends since middle school, female friend tries to hold a surprise celebration for her male friend after she finds out he returned from military service but ends up seeing his dick.
Idk how quickly the main characters in this manhwa get together but in What’s Going On they get together pretty quickly

im sorry but i swear to god the misunderstandings they have about each other and them being unable to clear them up and just adding to it is so frustrating. it's their own fault since they both felt like they had to fulfill the role the other perceived them as early on.
right now their communication makes me feel like im reading a shoujo about two teenagers in their first relationship rather than two grown ass adults with some experience.
i really hope they talk to each other properly about things soon
Although I can understand the fls mindset given her previous life, my feeling towards her are mixed. On the other hand, I really love the dads. Hercules and Pluto are my favorites given the last several chapters, and I think Muto is hot.
I’m hoping the fl goes the Athy route and stops trying to escape the castle and just tries to enjoy everyday life with her dad(s). Like let’s ignore the person trying to overtake the throne and fl dying at 12 for now and make this a slice of life series.
