Wald spoke Jonathan's name. I remembered there being thoughts from makoto that some of the diary entries were blurry and he was thinking it was from old age or something else, and I have a theory, that the blurry entries were planted by J, he's leaving crumbs for makoto to pick up in order for him to find his name. I believe that incense really broke J and brought back his pain from losing Wald, and I think that much brokenheart made him go through with his plan. That's why he made sure makoto could call his name and waited for a while so makoto would be more powerful than him, because if he did it too early makoto would catch on and prevent him from doing so. Heheh just sharing my thoughts
