compare to the first story which was really adorable, this couple is cute but i dont feel their lovelove its more like the aspect of not being alone and having a warm body beside you. He is attracted to him but for me it feels not that deep.
Especially because he still loves his wife so much, which is beautiful but i dont like plots like these, because it will always feel like the new lover is a Substitute.
same, it feels like theres no closure because it doesnt really show he “falls in love” but rather, how he accept help and company from kei. and sex is just a bonus.. i love the characters tho. i wished they show more backstory on both characters

I would like to challenge your statement.I was widowed at a very young age, (24, I'm now 49), I still have love for my late husband, I still visit his grave, when someone close to you like that dies; they take a piece of your heart to the grave with them, one you will never get back. I think that shows that a person can love with their whole heart. My second husband has had no problems with it, he said," what kind of a person gets jealous over a dead person?"
When you're widowed young you have to leave your mind and heart open to finding love again, because most likely you have many years left to live. Children grow up and move away. I think that this story shows the beauty of finding love again after suffering the most crushing heartbreak you could ever experience. This is just the opinion of someone whom has experienced this kind of loss.

I think you're right it is possible but i differentiate between real life and fiction,because real life is so much more complex then fiction. I'm sure if we had more chapter i would be able to feel their love. But the story is far too short to show all aspects & how their love grows, but thats only my opinion, you're free to have another opionion & i'm glad that you enjoy the story.
I'm usually not a fan of such stories but that doesnt mean i'm against it in real Life. or rather i'm glad when people who lost someone dear to them are able to find another person who they can love whole heartly.

The reason it's rushed is because it's a story. If they tried to pace it like real life; it would be way too long and people would get burnt-out on it and stop reading.
I think it would be possible, because not every one likes drama ect, some just wanna see some daily lovey stuff.
Anyways, real life & fiction are different but i alreay said that in my long reply.
The problem is that a fictional story wouldn't always be able to grab that essence that actual human beings with complex emotions go through. This is why most dead lover story falls flat for me, they simply can't convince me that the person isn't using the new partner as a rebound or substitute, or have the maturity to truly make the distinction between their past partner and present partner. I can trust real human beings to have that maturity to make that distinction, in fiction, I am only relying on the story teller to convey that to me.
