It took me 20 chapters to realize that this character And bestie’s boyfriend are the Same Person. After seeing her talk with the manager and I was like. Wait a minute. What happened to The Butch. So I went and was like oh. Yeah, no, that’s the boyfriend.
I know you see him in later chapters, but I just. Saw them as two different characters that happened to look similar. Thinking there was going to be some side plot where bestie ends up running to this character I’ve apparently invented after breaking up with her boyfriend. That they had some history together and bestie got together with her boyfriend because he was so similar to her.
I should’ve paid more attention when reading…

I still can't believe that they just...cut out the scene that showed Karyan's route being eliminated entirely.
I understand that whoever behind the manhwa adaptation may have wanted to wrap up the series quickly, but it feels especially weird that there was no proper closure with Karyan (especially as he hadn't showed up in a while, even more especially with how every other route was shown being dissolved except his).
It's a bit sad, as I really liked Karyan, too. They did him dirty lmao
I should probably add that I'm happy that the series *was* able to get an ending, as I've seen many others that, while promising, had been left off with a hiatus. I also should've prefaced saying that I have no idea what went on behind the scenes in the serialization of this manhwa, and hence I did not want nor intend to point fingers at any party that was involved.
This was a lovely manhwa overall. The ending was just...very unsatisfying.
They left a small portion of the light novel unadapted, for whatever reason. Considering reading the MTL’s of the novel if you need closure.
By closure, I mean an explanation for the plot holes that were left by the end of the story.

I’ve only skimmed through to the end, so I’m not sure if there’s other scenes earlier on to pay mind to.

I’d encourage anyone to MTL the novel raws, if they’re interested in reading the remainder of the story. The novel starts deviating around halfway through the fourth part of volume four.
