No one understands the relief of not seeing an epilogue where the two of them get married.... also damn like why is everyone so fucked up
Personally I NEVER got that feeling from the very start when reading this it just gave me the same vibes I get when reading Ohayou toka Oyasumi toka. (▰˘◡˘▰)But unlike that story it dealt with a whole bunch of different issues such as the grief and loneliness the mc's brother put up with as a small boy and continually as he grew up dealing with that gradually grew emotions that turned into bitterness and hatred towards those he felt had "betrayed" him then leading him to taking his bitterness and hatred out on his sister.

At first I thought it was going to lead up to the possible scenario of her getting adopted and leaving her brother permanently with how the guy was considering it and his friends were digging into the laws and age restrictions to apply for adoption.ヾ(☆▽☆) In the end though I would of liked to have gotten an epilogue even a short chapter that showed how the mc's brother changed, hoe he and his sister were doing together and how the other characters kept in contact and still hung out but it was still a good ending.

I liked how the guy would still come over like he had to been and would become the guidance and support the mc's brother needed all along and how he would keep an eye on him to check on his progress. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧The mc forgiving her brother despite all he did and accepting him as her brothering was very heartwarming and nearly made me cry. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I agree with you too and from the plot itself I also didn’t get that vibe... my main issue was that the girl was in primary school but tackling problems that college students would struggle to deal with, and a mature FL and a kind ML results in strange situations....... plus I’m scarred by usagi drop lolol
The sad truth is that Usagi Drop I think has made MULTIPLE people apprehensive when dealing with child mcsΣ( ̄□ ̄||) in stories in general and them interacting with someone who is a parent/guardian like type figure and that is a real shame that one manga has done that to so many people when reading stories involving children being mature for their ages and befriending a kind male protagonist . (⊙…⊙ )
To be honest Usagi drop would of been a beautiful story as it was there was no need to add the aspect of the child marrying the one who raised them later on. I don't have an issue with age gaps but this was one that I could not go beyond the fact that the mc raised her and then MARRIED her in the end so yeah no I never could get past that. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ(⊙…⊙ )
But I get what you mean that is why if I find out a story ends that way I tend to avoid it that's why I like Raising Children while Being and Adventurer in its English title or I'm a Middle-Aged Man Who Got My Adventurer License Revoked because both keep the mcs as a parental/gaurdian figure and the children stay as children with NO implying of them becoming future spouses and or wives of the mc.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
And that's how it should be. (▰˘◡˘▰)
It was sad reading how many issues she had to deal with and the many problems she had to tackle as you said but I am glad it ended well in the end for her and she will be able to live more like a kid now and not have to be burdened by worries a child her shouldn't have to deal with.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
