my relationship with this story is ironically a love and hate relationship.
on one hand i am absolutely frustrated at the pace it’s going, absolutely confused as to how this is going over 80 (approaching 90) chapters, being absolutely stressed out and having my anxiety spike over these fictional characters and this fucked up love triangle, not liking that it isn’t on a set sense of direction (u can see if u scroll down the topics here, i end up taking out my frustrations here a lot i’m really sorry guys for contributing to the negativity here, just ignore them i’m dumb).
HOWEVER on the other hand, i keep coming back for more. in fact yes i did say this story was a drag but did i ever say i disliked the plot itself? in fact i honestly did not have that of a hard time reading it. i actually really truly love the symbolism and poeticism, seeing the different pov’s and their thoughts. i actually surprisingly am one of the rare people (i think) that is pretty okay with all the characters. i see a lot of people dislike certain characters. i do have a bias with which characters i like more, but has that ever really caused me to hate another character? no. in fact in some twisted way or another i can see parts of the main three characters in myself, i cant bring myself to hate them at all bc of that.
with this story i find there are two common areas where i think sparks immense arguments. the plot and the characters. if u love the plot or certain characters u might defend ur opinion on it like it’s ur left arm (sorry i tried to sound boujee here but i cant do this lmao why did i have to go with “left arm” bye-), if u hate/dislike the plot or certain characters u will also defend ur opinion to the hell and back. or perhaps you’re like me, and you constantly question ur opinion, and it’s constantly changing, or ur relatively neutral.
in a sense this is also my way of interpreting the title. i’d like to think that the title has to do with the characters discovering their true feelings and emotions bc sometimes, u don’t truly know yourself and what u love or hate (ahaha see what i did there) even if u claim to. but i also think that the title is also very much referring to readers and their own relationship with this story.
this was like twice as long as the last one and once again unedited and very messy haha. if u actually read this whole thing i appreciate u and you’re a champ ily lmao sorry u had to read my rambling.
i saw a few people saying they don’t like minhyeok, can someone give me a refresher as to why that might be? i read this a while ago and it hasn’t updated for a hot minute so i forgot the plot (i’ll reread once it starts getting updated again tho)

Sooyoung and Minhyeok buy alcohol and head over to SY’s place. We see SY struggling to deal with the trauma of what happened with Jisung (his abusive ex) while he’s taking a shower. In order to cope, he starts drinking heavily to the point of nearly passing out. MH, who’s been watching this, decides to make a move on SY who reciprocates.
At one point, SY seems to fall asleep/pass out so MH wakes him up by twisting his nipple. They head over to the bed and both seem to be enjoying themselves. MH tells SY that if he calls out the name of the person making him feel good, he'll go faster…SY calls out Park Taeseung’s name (aka mafia daddy).
Minhyeok gets mad af and when Sooyoung tells him to start fucking him (meaning mafia daddy), MH says he won’t and decides to have intercrural sex instead. SY keeps calling out TS’s name so MH shoves his hand over his mouth to shut him up and keeps going. The next day SY wakes up and thinks he was just dreaming about what he wants to do with TS.
