i think i’m at a place where i can just drop it, wait for it to finish, spoil the ending for myself and continue reading. god damn i just wanna know who he ends up with, reading character development can come in later lmaooo. i finally started to read this after a couple months of careful consideration (i’ve been avoiding it bc of all the stressed out ppl and negativity in the comments). i’m honestly a bit bored, frustrated, conflicted and confused. it kinda feels like a drag reading this. art is really pretty tho.

as a kpop stan myself i do quite like this plot bc i am familiar with this industry and i’m aware of how scandalous an idol being in a relationship of any sort (let alone one where they’re with someone of the same sex) is. however (ah damn i might get flamed for this) i’m not the biggest fan of all these people saying “these two are this and this ship”. comparing them is fine to an extent but fanfics and fan art exist for a reason. it just feels kinda disrespectful to the author bc these are their og characters

i’m waiting for this to be completed before i even consider reading it. i’ve seen the comments bc i check in periodically to see the completion status (i also occasionally skim through the latest chapter but shh). i just wanted to say, bc i’ve read the comments ik a good portion of the plot and just seeing the cover, characters or just mentions of this story makes my anxiety spike idk how u guys have managed to read this without it being completed god damn.
i applaud the symbolism in elements of this story. the little bit of foreshadowing in the first few chapters, the irony of how the drama that joowon is in is also a love triangle, and just the internal dialogue of haesoo. all of them connect towards the plot quite beautifully and u can truly feel the emotions. i said i was dropping it but i keep coming back to read a bit more.
everyone is so clear with who they side with and who they want haesoo to be with or for him to not be with either of them at all. i personally can’t choose. i see people’s arguments and i cant help but agree with most of them, no matter who it’s about. the more i read on the more conflicted i get. the author has written the plot in such a way that on one hand u would expect the basic “the good guy never ends up with the main character” but on the other hand the complicated nature of their relationships with each other makes u think otherwise. will haesoo eventually truly fall for taku or will he end up going back to joowon? will joowon ever tell haesoo how he truly feels? and if he does will it be too late? maybe the story will do a complete 360 and it’ll be txj lmaoo. or maybe it’ll pull a tragedy card? these are questions i constantly ask myself. (lowkey have an idea about the last one cause i skimmed through the the raws but shhh)
ew this sounds like an english class reflection but yes here’s my rant
