Yk what, as time goes by Jo is starting to grow on me. I think he makes for a very compelling story and serves as a good foil to Ian and TJs relationship. I’m team TJ forever though. It’s obvious TJ and Ian are in love with each other, even if it is a little codependent. However, because of the homophobia of the gang (TJ worried because he’s the leader and being with a man is considered taboo), plus the fact that they’ve never been taught how to communicate their emotions in a healthy way, they don’t know how to love each other properly. Y’all have to remember that as they were growing up, being with a man was seen as wrong and not normal and they were expected to be with women. There’s the guilt from how deeply they love each other, combined with their messy history so of course they don’t know how to just be together in a healthy way. That doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. I think in some ways, TJ isn’t the best for Ian, however TJ is the only one who can truly understand everything about him. I think that Ian and TJ could be together if they both grow emotionally and learn how to communicate in a healthy way. Hopefully Jo can help Ian learn to do that.
Also TJ enthusiast should re-read chapters 43 and 44 while listening to roadhead by Gus dapperton. You’re welcome in advance.

Let’s be real everyone reads for smut. Wet Sand is one of my favorite storylines by far but Jo functions more as a mirror for Ian and TJ. He helps them reveal more about their nature that they’re not willing to admit to. What this does is make TJ & Ian closer to each other because they’re building empathy for each other as they confront the truth about their personalities. Jo’s function as a love interest of Ian is dull.
If you looking for a fap material this isn't for you lol. A proper foundation of a love relationship doesn't build on sex only. Communication, trust, emotional support, shared values and beliefs and quality time all contribute to a foundation that will help your relationship endure. TJ's relationship with Ian missing all of these aspects while Jo has in his relationship with Ian. If you only wanted to be fck buddies then you don't have to care about any of these things. If you think he's just a mere cupid like every other good guys in love triangle then so be it lol. He's actually fighting for his love than being coward. How's good guys being dull now? Just admit that Jo has no toxic characteristics that will make you go horny.

I just looked the raws and they honestly gave me a pit in my stomach. It seems like after Matthew comes back to himself he bathes Jin then fingers him again (which looks painful for Jin) then Jin kisses him and throws himself on him for more sex. It’s so sad. Jin is such a good character and now the author is making him out to be just another slutty bottom with no self respect. Lowk ruined the story for me.

i read the raws too and i didn't see any of that happen? was this after the main rape scene because matthew takes jin to the doctor after and doesn't touch him until jin consents again. i'm completely up to date and i don't see jin at all losing his strong character or being reduced to a slutty bottom?
