A big reason why I love shutline is because it’s not the typical crime BL where the mc tries to get the ml to run away with him and “live a normal life”. Instead Shin is willing to get in the mud & be just as grimy as Jake and I LOVE it. I love how tough he is and I love how much Jake respects his strength. They’re such a power couple & Shin’s upbringing really makes him such a perfect partner for Jake.
